Go to Lambs Farm! Kind of a shlep but its so much fun! It doesnt take too long to get there. Libertyville, Il. Is pretty centrally located, isnt it?
Eta: I'm sorry, how America centric of me. Lambs Farm is only centrally located if you live in the States. My apologies if you live elsewhere!

Depending on how young your baby is, a petting zoo or farm might work for a day trip.
