One year old boxes of spaghetti, use or toss?

A friend gave me about ten boxes of outdated spaghetti. Should I use or toss? The boxes look ok, but the dates are May of 2015.

Make it and taste it, if it tastes rancid then toss it. I have made rancid pasta before

Should be fine.
I save the pesachdik potato pasta from year to year.

I've used pasta over a year old... embarrassed
