Obama shortens terms for 214 prisoners. Why not RUBASHKIN?

Does anyone here think that President Obama hasnt heard of the Rubashkin case, and has never compared in his mind the seriousness of Rubashkin's offenses to those of his buddy Rezko and other "White Collar Criminals" ,cases both similar and more guilty than Rubashkin's, who got far less jail time than Rubashkin, and what might be behind that?

America has legal procedures. If his attorneys haven't filed for clemency, then what exactly are you asking? Your question is why didn't Obama break all precedent and violate procedure to (possibly illegally, if a filing is required) pardon a man whose at the center of a case that is near and dear to your heart?

On another note, while it's very possible that Obama has heard of the Rubashkin case, he's also probably heard about hundreds of cases that took place this year alone. America is a gigantic country with many cases, and many people going to prison for many years. Why would you assume that Rubashkin's case would be more noteworthy to the US president than the hundreds of other cases?

Perhaps Im wrong but I think the Rubashkin case made more headlines than most.

Anyhow we clearly have a blanked up miserable judicial system in place if buddies of the POTUS get away with lots of very serious stuff and hardly get jail time! But so what else is new?
