We are going to vacation in Boston/Brookline for three days.
We need suggestions on what to do there and where to eat.
Would love some input from either ppl who live there or who have gone.

To eat there is a pizza store and a Chinese restaurant (forgetting the names but can find out) both are on Harvard st about a block from each other...
As in what to do...are you going with kids? Teens? just adults?

You can go to the science museum and children's museum... I can see if there is anything to do with kids that age from a friend who lives there..

Who is "we?" Meaning is it just you and DH, or also kids? For a family, the Science Museum is great, as is the Children's Museum and Aquarium. Duck Boats are pricy but a must. If you like sports tour Fenway Park or go see a game. You can rent boats on the Charles. Walk around the Boston Common and Public Garden and take a ride on the swan boats. If you like history, walk the Freedom Trail and tour the Boston Tea Party ship.
For food, there's Taam China and Cafe Eilat on Harvard Street. Be aware that Rubin's just closed last Friday, so don't plan to go there. There's also a place called Milk Street Cafe, but it's not under the local Vaad HaKashrus, and many locals don't eat there, so ask your LOR before relying on its hashgacha.

Are those the only kosher restaurants? Is there any kosher takeout for Shabbos? Is the bagel place still kosher?

What???? They closed?
Also, for little kids-- Larz Anderson park in Brookline is a nice shady playground. There is a car museum there too--- don't know if you want to hotter paying the admission fee. But the playground is great.
There is excellent pareve ice cream at FoMu-- portions are HUGE. If you are not makpid on chalav Yisrael, JP licks is kosher.
If you or your husband are baseball fans, the tour at Fenway park is excellent. It lasts an hour.
Other places to eat are:
Jerusalem Pita and Rami's-- both middle eastern food: falafel, shawarma, etc
pure cold press: salads, smoothies, healthy stuff
Kupel's bakery: bagels
All the places above, with the exception of FoMu and Jerusalem Pita are on Harvard street. Jerusalem Pita is in the same area--- Coolidge corner. FOMu-- I forget the street-- it's next to a Walgreens. sorry not so exact!
