For those with daughters, relatives, friends, or even if you have the name Aliza. How is it pronounced outside of the Jewish community? I absolutely hate the name (ah-lie-za) and definitely do not want anyone calling my baby that. I also do not want to spell it Aleeza.

Our daughter Aliza is 3 so we haven't had too much exposure, but sometimes the doctor or nurse will read her name as A-lie-za and so we just correct them - it has never bothered me so far.
