I need a fail proof and easy honey cake recipe.
I have never made honey cake since our family don't like it. But this year I have to make them for some guests.
So I want a recipe which is easy, quick to do and where it can't flop.

2 Tablespoons oil
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup strong black coffee
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Beat eggs, sugar and oil until light colored and thick. Combine coffee and honey. Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture alternating with honey mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan and bake slow at 325 degrees for about 1 hour 10 minutes. Stick a toothpick in center to check for doneness. If it comes out clean, cake is done.

Sorry! Forgot the honey! 1 cup honey!!! Mix it with the coffee. This is what happens when you try to do two things at the same time!

Wow the the thread is impressive- can't wait to try it.
I have a more intricate bundt pan I would want to use- do u think this recipe could work?
