I had some major stomach "distress" the other day and actually leaked....just wondering what I should have done - do you keep xtra tights & undies in your office, just in case?

It was horrible to walk around "dirty" the rest of that day!

Couldn't you run out and buy some new ones? If you have a desk or locker to keep your stuff in , why not keep an extra at work?

S/t similar once happened to me...luckily I was wearing knee-his...I simply ditched the underwear in the bathroom garbage and went without...better than smelling like a dirty diaper, and who would see?!

It's probably best to keep something extra at work. This has happened to my DH - more than once - and I don't know why he won't listen to me and just keep an extra pair of undies in his car or something.

A patient of mine once vomited on my stockings while I was at work. Luckily there was a drug store nearby to get new ones. After that I always keep a good supply of stuff at work.
I also had to throw out my shirt once. I didn't even want to bring it home to try to wash it. Gross.

After my second was born, as the midwife was cutting the cord, she gasped. I thought, "Oh, no - what's wrong?!" It turned out that nothing was wrong with ME - I guess she hadn't clamped it properly or something - because she had sprayed blood from the cord ALL OVER her white coat!

How often does that happen that you'd need to keep a spare in the office?? I'd rather go without, or go out and buy a new one.

I totally keep an extra pair of stockings in my schoolbag! ( I am a teacher). I never thought of using them for such a serious thing. I just thought that I know if I get a run in my stockings, I will be the laughing stock... it is easier to change!

I used to keep a knee-hi's, a sewing kit, snacks, even socks and an extra sweater, but found I never used any of that stuff.

I keep slippers and sneakers and occasionally use them, however.
