Chocolate chips expire? I didn't know that, and I don't store them in the bags, so I guess if not for Imamother I'd never have known. The only thing that happens to "old" chocolate, as far as I know, is it discolours. Since the chips are white anyway, I don't think you have much to worry about!

u can pour them unto a cake while the cake is still hot, the CC melt and are like an instant icing.

Let's face facts, pareve white chips don't have that much taste and they don't really melt white.
I would use them in a cooky in addition to whatever else I was mixing in. but nothing else. they don't hold up.

actually, they got little off white splotches on them, but still taste fine and they're in the freezer now. when I find out if my bodek strawberries are ok I'll do that with them otherwise maybe the oatmeal cookie thing.
oh, and I found the directions for eating them very funny. thanks.
