I have bones that have some chicken on it , carrots, zucchini, celery, parsnip and turnip. I was thinking of removing the veggies and adding in some potatoes, and two skinless chicken bottoms with the soup I already have let that cook about an hour and a half then was going to dice the cooked carrots I have, use the chicken from the bottoms and bones, blend the potatoes in the soup add the chicken pieces, diced carrot and some frozen peas and a drop of frozen corn kernels and let cool about another 20 min. And season it of course. Is that something that would work?

I always make cream of chicken soup from chicken soup I have. I make a roux and then add the soup, salt and pepper. When it boils I blend it. Add diced chicken cutlets, and cook for 10 min (if you cook longer it gets too dry). My kids don't eat it if I add peas and carrots.

So you don't add potatoes at all?

No, the flour from roux is what thickens the soup. Like it better that way.
