Does anyone send their daughter to Nachlas? Can you tell me about the school? What is the student body like in terms of yiddishkeit? Is it more yeshivish, chasidish, etc? Is it very academic? Any and all information would be very helpful. TIA.

Hi, my daughter goes to Nachlas and it is a wonderful school. The parent body is very frum, somewhat yeshivish but not as much as some other schools. She is learning tons and knows lots of Hebrew words.

Feel free to ask any more specific questions and I'd be happy to answer.

We looked into the school at one point and were very impressed with the principal. She is extremely warm and caring. The school is in a house that was completely redone to make it into a school. Big spacious colorful classrooms,it is very inviting. We were not accepted into the school. But were accepted to b.e.m. Go figure lol

Anyone else on Nachlas? What is the parent body like? I'm asking because everyone on here says great things about it but when I talk to people in Lakewood ( working/ American yeshivish style ) many haven't heard of it or don't know anyone who sends ..

Being this thread is titled "Nachlas," you might not get too many Bnos Esther Malka parents reading and responding .. just saying 😀

So far im happy. Cute small school. Nothing to compalin about bh! Parent body seems mixed, possibly leaning towards more yeshivish.

bumping this for info on Nachlas.

What grade does it go up to?

Is there academic pressure?

Considering for a child who is not doing well in a high academic, well established school in lakewood.

Is this school considered yeshivish?

Please tell me what you know!

It currently goes up to second grade. I don't think it's considered a yeshivish school. Don't know about the academic level, sorry.

I know a few ppl who send there. They’re mostly a chilled working crowd, Frum but not necessarily yeshivish. All very nice ppl. From what I hear they are all happy and it’s medium level academics. Not low but not very pressurizing. Hope this helps.

thank you for the responses. This school would not be an option since my girls are a little older than the oldest grade they have - but it does seem like a good school.

BTW- we are the working/business family but still considered yeshivish. I don't think yeshivish only means learning in yeshiva.

Not sure if you’re replying to my post. I know many working yeshivish ppl. The ppl I know who send here consider themselves Frum but not yeshivish. Could be just the 6-7 ppl I know who are there.
