Are there any places that we can get financial assistance from to send our daughter to seminary? We DEFINATLY qualify financaly. She can't go to Israel b/c she is only 17. I know federation sometimes gives about 1,000 for Israel but what about in USA? I need to raise about $6,000 total. Any ideas???

depends on the sem. if it's through a college, you can probably apply for government financial aid.

I don't understand what age has to do with it. Why can't she go to Israel?
I was 17 when I went to Michlalah in Israel.

In most Lubavitch Sems they want you to have finished 12th grade and are, by that time, 18 or almost. The only exceptions are not in Israel (Canada and 1 or 2 in the US).
