Looking for a sleepaway camp for a 12, almost 13 year old girl. She comes from a frum family, not necessarily Yeshivish and not MO, just regular frum. From out of town, an eidal girl. Very into arts. A theater option in a camp is a HUGE bonus, doesn't have to have one though. Oh and on the East coast.

You wont find a Yeshivish camp with a theater option. Thats almost like an oxymoron. Tubby and Bnos both put up great plays and are as close as youll get to yeshivish with camps that are into drama. Machaneinu is a mix of Yeshivish and Chassidish, and way less cool than the abovementioned camps. They put up productions as well but not on the same professional scale as Bnos. Machaneinu is definitely not into the arts im general. As I said, the more yeshivish (or frum) the camp, the less into theatre they are.
ETA Machaneinu is now Baisainu, although to some old timers like myself, it's still Machaneinu.

Tizmoret Shoshana is further right oriented (stricter dress code than Maor, different flavor of Shabbos observance, mostly BY type girls but not exclusively so, CY and glatt food, etc) arts camp, offering majors in instrumental music, vocal music, visual arts, creative writing, dance, and drama.
