I have 3 boys and of course my house is noisy every day Very Happy . Recently, I've been having a hard time discipling my 4 year old. Every day, when he comes home from school (also when he has days off), he doesn't behave nicely to his younger brother (age 1.5 yo). I keep on telling him not to hit his brother and not to push him because he's smaller than him. He also keeps on taking away his brother's own toys and it drives me nuts. I know that it's normal for kids to behave like this, but it's like this every day and I find myself just being impatient (I try my best to talk to him, take him aside, and not yell at him, but I just can't take it anymore, he doesn't listen and in the end I yell at him and forcefully take him to the room and close the door for a few seconds, he doesn't take me seriously and sometimes talk to me like I'm the child!). I even tell him to behave while we walk home from school...I always have to remind him. His little brother is now learning (because of him) to hit back and bite! I don't like how this is going. The older brother plays nicer with the younger brother but when both brothers are together, they sometimes both play rough with the baby brother and think like he's a piece of toy! I keep on telling them that he's not a toy and he can't jump around and do wild things like them because he's still small and he could hurt himself. I'm not sure what to do now. Are there any books you'd recommend? any advice would be great.
