I like knowing the gram weight of a bracelet before I buy, because the heavier the bracelet, the less likely it is to get dents.
If any store doesnt want to tell me the weight, I find one that does.
What would a 20 gram bracelet cost (average of 20 gram bracelet, there will be higher and lower) these days, with the price of gold what it is?

20g of 18K gold would be trade at $566 at market prices. So a bracelet purchased at retail would be around 3x that and up.

So based on the prices per gram weight on this chart, a bracelet sold retail, would cost roughly 3 times the gram weight of the gold?
If 14k is roughly $27 a gram, a 20 gram 14k bracelet, would cost 540, times 3, more than $1500, (or close to $1500, and if it costs way less, its a bargain)?

Remember that the higher the carat, the softer the gold. Also, high carat gold is usually very yellow, and can look fake. 14K or 18K is your best bet, for durability as well as price.
