Are you looking to buy? Do you have a local Jewish library?
Is there a particular genre she enjoys?

She especially likes contemporary fiction (for example, Playing with Matches by Suri Rosen). I guess the genre is young adult/ YA? Not a historical fiction fan.

No local Jewish library, unfortunately

Thank you for all the suggestions so far!

Shortchanged by EG Schwartz is kind of historical but she might really like it.
Sun Inside Rain by M. Bassara
I'll come up with more. Am tired now.
