When we bought our couches we were under the impression that they were real leather, and the price reflected that. Now a few years later they're peeling like crazy and need to be replaced. The store where we bought them closed down so can't get a refund. Where can I find good (actual) leather couches in Brooklyn that aren't too expensive?
Thanks.

You have bonded leather. The key is knowing what type of leather you're getting. "Real leather" isn't actually a term. You want Full Grain or Top Grain or Split Grain leather.

Yup. That's what happens. Why do you think they closed down? I believe you're not the only one this happened to. They try fooling people into buying, make temporary money, but such a business can't last.
