If you could live in any Jewish community, where would you live and why?

Las Vegas/Henderson. We have many friends there and much larger than my current community.

KJ. I love the insularity of it and the religiosity.

Arizona. For the dry air. (Even though I hear that the more developed it gets, the more the allergies crop up there as well.)

Good question. I have no idea. I've only lived in NYC so I'm not sure what else is out there.

The problem for me is, I really would like to take bits and pieces from a bunch of places (the weather from one, the community from another, the restaurants from a 3rd, etc)

Yerushaliyim or a suburb thereof. Second choice would be Melbourne, Australia.
To Honeydew: It's 93 degrees in Phoenix today. If it's that hot in in mid-March, I shudder to think what highs in July will be.

As a Melbournian I'm curious as to why?

I love to read, and I sometimes get stuck 'living' in places I've read about inside my head. Yes, a bit weird, I know! So there are some places I've never been to that I'm dying to live in, or at the very least visit:
Inverness, Scotland
New Dehli, India
Washington state
Atlanta, Georgia

I've been thinking for a long time that I'd love to live in Seattle. They have a nice community there, and I would love the weather and the beautiful scenery, nature, hiking etc.

I hear Atlanta is nice too, but it's too hot for me.
