How old can I start to toilet train my son? He seemed to be ready a few weeks ago but now has not interest. He is only 22 months...

My sil toilet trains her kids by 18 months....
But I'd not recommend so early. I think it takes away a carelessness that baby's have.

The youngest I have attempted was 2 years and 3 months .....but it really depends on the child ..... some aren't ready until at least 2.5 or even 3

Most of the people I know did it st some point between 2 1/2 and 3

Wait till they r 100% ready. My kids were 3.75 and 3 when toilet trained. Best decision ever to wait until totally ready. It was a 1 day affair bh with barely any accidents at all. And they night trained on their own within 2 weeks.

As a preschool Morah for 5 years I can say for a girl 2-2.5 yr old and a boy 2.5-3 yr old.
