"She's got more than me"

I want to know how other parents deal with jeolosy issues.

My kids are constantly complaining that I gave more to the other one. I especially don't count out exactly how many pretzels I gave to each I just give a handfull and try to tell them it doesn't make a difference but it doesn't help, does anyone have constructive advice?

I remember doing it to my mum as a kid, oh you gave him more...remember the middos machine...truth be told we just made fun of middos machine and still believed the conspiracy theories that the other sibling was so obviously favoured and that is why they got a bigger scoop of the ice cream.
What you have to do is say if they are not happy then they can't have any.
I don't know of anything that'll solve the problem.

how about this:
-as soon as you're done with this, I will gladly give you more.
-He is older, when he was your age, he got this much too. When you'll be his age, you'll get more.
-another one that usually works: "I want to puch you!" so I get a responce, No, you can't. I say but I really do, why can't I puch you? we play this game, untill the kid comes down (a note: we pach very very rarely & the kids know that it's just a game).
