It's cool amother!
I love the dead sea, it's fun! I have been there several times, it was a long time ago, I think the hotel was Meridien.

we went to the royal hotel, tough not mehadrin...through work of dh, it was amazing... try nirvarna hey are mehadrin

I don't know of any Mehadrin hotels in the Yam Hamelach area, but Nirvana and Royal each have 10-14 Mehadrin days a season (separate pool hours and Mehadrin food in a Kashered kitchen). If you plan on going in August and you want Mehadrin only, I think your only choice is Royal. If you want something cheaper that's a 40-minute drive from there, try hotels in Arad.
BTW, Nirvana is fantastic, if you want to wait till November.
