We woulld like to go to the niagara falls(Canadian side)
Do you think it is interesting for children?
do you know of any kosher restaurants around the area?
Is there any hotel that has an outdoor pool?
Please share your experience!

DH and I went to Niagara Falls two years ago. We stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview (on the Canadian side) -- but we went with no kids (they were all in sleepaway camp). Our room had an amazing view of the falls.
There are (or were two years ago -- things may have changed) no kosher resturanunts in the area. DH and I flew to Buffalo, rented a car, picked up meat in the local kosher mart there, and ate it over the course of the next three days. The Sheraton had an indoor pool, but we didn't use it.
There are some activities that might interest kids. There is Rossi Glass, a glassblower nearby. The falls themselves, of course, are an attraction as well. Further up the Niagara Parkway ( a beautiful drive) is the Butterfly Observatory).
Any other specific questions? I'll be happy to provide any info I can.

We just took the kids around lag ba'omer. We were hoping to go on the Maid of the Mist but it hadn't open yet due to the ice.I took them on the ferris wheel instead. My bro & sil took their kids to Ripleys Believe it or Not., there are a whole bunch of turist things like that. We also did the Walk behind the falls. Took our then future dil, she had never been & loved it. Walking along the falls is an activity on it's own, then you go again at night when they are lit up. Also when looking for a hotel, look for one that is within walking distance from the falls so you don't have to worry about parking.

Yea, Krispy cream near the galleria mall is kosher. And Tops near the outlet mall has a kosher section and you can get sandwiches and hot dogs. But its only open till 3 I think.
