Lotus ice cream pie. Blend your favorite half gallon vanilla ice cream with a jar of lotus spread. Put into graham pie crust and top with crushed lotus cookies. Tada! Freeze. Makes 2 or 3, cant recall.

Similar idea to reality mom:
Leave ice cream out of freezer to soften a few minutes. Then mix in any toppings you want (like a razzle.) I use a tbspn peanut butter, chocolate syrup, rice crispies, chocolate chips (I put some in a ziplock and break them up), and almond brittle crunch. Then put in chocolate graham cracker crust. freeze. Serve with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a wafer roll poked in if you'd like.

another idea
buy 2 flavors ice cream sandwiches. cut each sandwich into 3 lengthwise. Then layer every other flavor in 3's. (1,2,3 and 1,2,3 on top etc.) When you cut the "cake" it is checkerboard.

Fresh fruit salad using in-season ripe fruit.

Or sorbet topped with fresh seasonal fruit.

Good fruit does not need much embellishment.

Chocolate graham cracker shell, crushed oreo cookies or the parvery equivalent, non dairy creamer- not whipped. Pour cookies and whip into shell and freeze.

Ice cream pie.

Another easy dessert.

Whip up some dessert whip and serve over canned peaches

Or you can make dunking Hines chocolate brownies and put a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup on top.

Blend a bag of frozen strawberries with a tin of pineapple (20 oz)and a tin of peaches. You may not need the full tin of peaches, vary according to taste. You can add some unwhipped whip or coffee creamer for a creamier texture.

Easy lemon pie

Mix together

16 oz pareve whip
1 cup sugar
8 eggs
1/2 cup lemon juice
optional: lemon zest

stir all ingredients together (I use a stick blender - no need to whip the cream) Pour into 2 graham cracker crusts or pre - baked frozen pie crusts. Bake 30 minutes on 350 until just set. Freezes great and can be served semi frozen if desired.

Shave some chocolate on top if you want to be fancy or do as in this picture. (But that will exceed your 5 minute time limit.)

A fruit dessert or a cake/cookie dessert?

Fruit dessert :
Can of cut pineapple - with its juice
Frozen strawberries - can thaw slightly to cut smaller
Whip topping (not whipped)
Mix together. Will turn pink and I always give it another good mix before serving.

Dessert:
Assemble Dunking Hines mix, pour into graham crust. Serve warm with ice cream

This - just put one square rosemary chocolate in the mini pie shell first. When it comes out, serve it with a scoop of ice cream on top- delicious and looks beautiful too

I think this takes only a few minutes though I never timed it, but easy-shmeezy. Though not cheap.

Buy one container vanilla ice cream, and pints two different colors sorbet e.g. strawberry or raspberry and mango or another color.

Take a loaf pan (though you could use square) and line w parchment paper. (Hint - moisten the paper and it will easily conform to shape).

Leave the first color out for a bit. Spread evenly in pan and freeze. After it's fairly solid, take out vanilla, defrost a bit, and spread a layer. Freeze. Repeat with last layer.

A loaf pan you can cut in nice slices. With a square pan you get squares. You can serve w a slice of kiwi or a fan of strawberry.

Brownies or blondies.
Up to five minutes to mix with a hand mixer and dump in the pan. Bakes for 20 min.
Spread a handful or two of chocolate chips over as soon as it's removed from the oven. After a few minutes, drizzle with a little lit then spread like frosting. Top with chopped nuts, sprinkles, coconut, whatever.

But frozen molten lava cakes or runny chips. Warm in oven . Top with a scoop of ice cream. ( quick, delicious but expensive and high in calories)
