Hi! Anybody tried doughless potato knishes without flour or would have a flour substitute (other than potato starch) Like arrowroot starch, topiaco starch. If yes, do you have measurements and would you recommend taste?

thanks!

On Pesach I use tapioca starch (or potato starch) instead of flour -- but less; about 3/4 of the amount.

Did you try it with Almond Flour? Do you know substitute amounts?

Sorry, but I've never even seen arrowroot starch. I have no idea. Hopefully someone else who is familiar with it will chime in.

Generally you use just 1/2 teaspoon of arrowroot for every 1 cup of regular flour.
Tapioca starch has the same conversion as potato starch which is 5/8 cup tapioca in place of 1 cup flour.
But I can't vouch for this particular case.
