training pant (not pull-ups) or regular underwear?
Are the "training pant" underwear (look like underwear but just with a bit more padding) good for toilet training? Are they helpful with teeny accidents that the clothing doesn't get soaked as much? or is it better to get regular thin underwear so they really feel the wetness? (or will the feel it enough with the padded ones that it doesn't matter?).
(posting anon since I'm going to ask people IRL if I don't find answers here :-p)

Yes, they are helpful with small accidents. Not sure about the wetness part. Certainly they feel wetter than super-absorbent diapers.

We used training pants and were really happy with that decision

Absorbency isn't important to me. Easy to raise and lower is. So underwear a little big is good.

Best is to get cheap, so you don't feel bad throwing them out when the accident was too much...
