I have a used volvo SUV. I love it. DH does 85% of the driving and he hates minivans so we got this instead.

We have a Kia Sedona. Bought used, we've owned it for 6 years and it's nearly 10 years old. So far we've been pretty happy with it.

Had a minivan. 4 kids. Got a Traverse. Barely enought trunk space for a grocery run. I put down the extra seats when we travel, which is almost never...Car seats 8. Perfect for carpool.

Odyssey. As soon as I had 3 kids I went to a minivan. 3 in car seats is a really tight squeeze in a sedan.

I have three kids, drive an impala. Infant car seat, and 2 diono radians. Fits perfectly and the trunk is really big. We'll get a bigger car one day soonish but not yet.
Any ideas for someone who doesn't want a minivan?

Volvo SUV, 4 kids, love it because it's big enough but not too big to park. I just wish it had more trunk space.

Husband drives a Suburban and that sure has space but it's huge and I won't park it.

Chrysler pacifica. Loving the pacifica, its roomy 8 seater and stow and go seats that go into the floor effortlesswith one hand.

Another vote for Sienna. 8 seats, very spacious.

An SUV with two rows of seats, if you're willing to compromise on trunk space. Otherwise you'd need a Suburban style.

Thanks, Suburban is too expensive Sad which SUV has the largest trunk space?

With an SUV and 3 kids it depends on how you have them seated. Mine kept annoying each other so I have two in the middle and one in the back. I could techincally have them all in one row and have a bigger trunk. I have the 7th seat folded flat so I can fit a fair amount in the trunk. I have a Vista stroller and can usually fit groceries and other miscellaneous items.

SUV with nice size trunk space (besides for suburban, Escalade, Lincoln and the like, which are all really really big and hard to park)

Chevrolet traverse
GMC acadia
Ford explorer
Buick enclave

hope this was helpful
