I read about this last night and looked over a bunch of reviews. It seems totally legit- you teach English to little Chinese kids over the internet. You set your own times and schedules, get about 14-18 an hour, and must have a bachelor's. You get a preset curriculum and need to prepare nothing at all.
Sounds like it would be perfect for a stay at home mom or someone just trying to bring in some extra income.

I'm planning to do it in a few years, when I retire. The feedback is pretty good, which is important, given the number of scams out there.

a friend of mine (not Jewish) does it and loves it. She likes to work at 5:00 am. If I were ever to do it, it would be their morning, my evening. No way am I doing ANYTHING at 5:00 am.  She lives in a very rural area and has very spotty internet and phone at home so she rents space for this and her business--- she does a little of this every weekday morning and then works on her business. Her kids are all grown.

you pay taxes on your income, yes... I assume you live in the USA? I think it's 1099, not W-2. So you'd do a schedule C.
