Anyone have such a recipe? One that you can dump in the whole 2lb bag? Lot of my friends and I are asking around and we can't find any! Tia!

I use a recipe with 7 cups all the time. Is that ok?

If I could have that recipe that would be great. I will play around with it. It would be missing 1/3 c flour...what do you think?

This one. It's better when the dough is a little stickier with a bit less flour.

kitchen aid challah

2 oz fresh yeast
1 3/4 c warm water
3 egg yolks
7 cups flour
1/4 c oil
1 T salt

put yeast, warm water, and sugar in bowl and let stand until yeast bubbles. Add eggs, flour, oil and salt. Mix with dough hook.

Oil top of dough, cover and let rise for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350.

Shape loaves. Glaze with an egg and either poppy or sesame seeds

Edit: I add 1/2 cup sugar because my family likes sweet challah

That's what I was going to suggest. The amount of flour you have sounds perfect.
