I'm not asking right now abt convenience etc.
If I pay 10$ once a month (120$ per year) to have facial hair removed, and now I would start electrolysis... help me understand how this works?
I'm told I will have to pay 1$-1.50$ a minutes.
The first few weeks I will need 30 minutes -2x week.
That would be 240-360$ (At least) first month.
Assuming next few months would be half the amount 120-180$ per month.
After one year (when I would hopefully be rid of the hair) I would have spent 1,560-2,340$
It Seems to me that it would take 13-20 years to break even.
Please explain???

If your numbers are basically correct, then yes, around 15 years to break even. What's your question?

You're right, Electrolysis is more expensive. However, it is PERMANENT! I've done it and never have to worry about hair growth in that area. It's worth the money in my opinion. There's no claim that it'll save you money right now. In the long run it will. Its possible like you said that that'll take 15 years. But you'll be hair free!

I'm not sure what you're question is. Electrolysis is not a money saving technique. (Although It's going to turn out to be in the long run.)
It's for convenience. Once you're over, you're hair is permanently gone.

Will you really need 30 minutes 2x a week?
I've done 15 minutes at a time every few weeks for upper lip. Granted, I'm not hairy but even still I can't imagine 30 minutes a session if you're only going for waxings once a month right now. I would think 15 minutes every 2 weeks for someone more hairy.

I spent years doing electrolysis. Then I bought an epilator, which is a hair removal shaver, it pulls your hair out by the roots and considerably slows hair growth.
I own a SilkPro and a Braun. Both have worked well for years. I usually go over my face a few times a year. I no longer have to shave under my arms or my legs. (I looked like a bear when I got married, and my husband requested my shaving underarms and legs.)
