Which wicks are the best to stay lit?
Do the Pre-filled cups that come in sets work well? Is there a difference in brands? Are they glass or plastic cups in those sets?
Or buy your own glass cups and fill as you go?

So many choices and usually we end up with somewhat of a mess of oil and a lot of cups that don't stay lit.

Appreciate all tips and tricks for neat and well lit menorahs.

My parents use the pre-filled ones and they light very nicely and the flames look nice and even. I don't know the brand, but the ones they have are plastic. (not sure how they don't melt, but my parents have never had an issue)

We use the glass cups and fill them each day (we actually fill 1/3 of the way with water because it holds way more oil than we need to use). We use the soft cotton wicks and the metal bracket wick holders that you fold over the sides of the cups. We find that these light the best, and stay lit until all the oil is gone. We never had luck with the floating wicks or the wicks that you stick in the vertical metal tube things

I have found straight-sided cups burn better than pretty curved ones, but I still don't have 100% success.
