I’m wondering if 4 weeks is too long to wait to send thank u notes to people who made/sent things for my sons Bar m. I intended to send them a thank u email within a couple of weeks. But his Bar m was 4 weeks ago! Am I too late?
Should I still send?
Anonymous Cz I’m pretty embarrassed 😞

Definitely ok to send them now. People understand that it takes time to get regular life going after a simcha, but they did something nice for you and deserve a note of recognition for their kindness and effort.

Well what are you waiting for? The more you worry about it the later it will be!

Why is this your problem? Your son should be sending them!

This. They should definitely come from your son, unless it is people who hosted etc, when it should come from you. A month is definitely not too late.

The reason to come from your son is twofold, once he received the gifts and should show proper hakara hatov, and he should know that this is his responsibility.
