My three year old boy is lively and rambunctious and doesn't put his personality on hold when his baby sibling naps.
I put the baby to nap in a stroller with the door closed but the walls are thin and sound travels. When my three year old makes noise (always!) my baby wakes up from her nap.
I don't want to make my home like a prison, but I hate when baby gets woken up like that... what to do?

Have you tried a sound machine?

I'm not sure how old your baby is. But when I have a newborn we intentionally make sure that the house is NOT quiet when the baby naps, so that it gets used to background noise and doesn't wake up from a toddlers voice and playing. This method always worked for me.
I find that babies that are used to pin drop silence when they sleep wake up from every sound.

I tried doing that when baby was born but it never ever worked. My baby was a light sleeper since she was born!

We did this too! Whenever we have friends or family over at night making a racket they can't believe how my toddler sleeps right through it!

Like others mentioned, I always get my babies used to sleeping with noise & light. It's very important. As well as sleeping in the stroller. You can expect a household to be quiet every time the baby naps.
