Cannot view images

I have a problem viewing images on certain sites only. Ex. if there's a post here on Imamother with a picture I'll just see a red X. I have the K9 filter installed but I don't think this is causing the problem cuz it does not happen on every website. Please help me quick cuz dh needs it for work. Thanks!

I know, I have that sometimes too ...you might try using I.E instead of firefox, or some such.

Try tools -> internet options -> advanced -> scroll down to multimedia and make sure show pictures is ticked.

Ok, I just checked my internet options and "pictures" is ticked off. What else can I try? Withhumor, your a computer whiz . Could you help me please?

Are you using IE? If so, try looking at the same site in a different browser like FF and let me know the results...

This worked for me with difficulty viewing Ebay pics:

Right click the red X

Scroll down and left click Properties

Cut and paste "address" www.-------.com"(whatever address is shown)

Go to K-9, Choose Setup

Log in and click exceptions

Go to Sites to always allow, add a site

Insert adress into box, click add

Save changes

Go back to Image with difficulty, refresh and it's done (in my case).

letsbe - thanks for your help. It worked. So every time I want to view images I have to do this or can I change s/t in the settings permanently?

I just wanna add that if you're relying on k9 to filter you're web then putting those sites onto the safe sites list isnt always good cuz those sites are blocked cuz they can have bad pictures in them and anyone using your computer can come across them and they wont be blocked cuz u unblocked all the pictures from that site.
