So thankfully my dc likes the milk substitutes. And never cared for yogurt etc.
But pizza/grilled cheese/baked ziti are stuff that are super important to my dc. I've found a mozzarella alternative, but apparently it's the american cheese I need.
I see toffuti makes one, are they any good? anyone know where I can buy in brooklyn?
And have any of you found other good products like that?
Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

My dairy-allergic kids eat both the American adn the Mozzarella. The American cheese smells like sweaty gym socks, but they don't see to notice.

I use Daiya cheese. It reeks but my kid claims it's even better than regular cheese. So I guess the taste can't be that awful.

Did you try the ready frozen tofutti pizza? Or use the shredded daiya cheese for homemade. The subs are not like dairy but these aren't bad.

Tofutti. We've found it in most major supermarkets.
Tofutti no longer makes frozen pizza.

American cheese for pizza? If it can just be orange, but not American specifically, Daiya is good and I just tried a new one that is even better than Daiya - it was in a purple bag... I think the same brand that makes those soy and coconut yogurts and ice creams... So Delicious??

My kids like Daiya too. They make a variety of products.
