My DS is dry most nights but sometimes pees during the night. I wash his pajamas that day but I noticed that after the washer/dryer it still retains a urine smell. What else should I be doing? Thanks.

Wash it on sanitize cycle or add some persil disinfectant to the load.

Add vinegar to the wash, that kills the smell.

Wash on hot water as soon as possible. Add vinegar/ammonia to the load. That should remove the urine smell.

Bed bath and Beyond sells something called “Zero Odor” that you add to machine when you wash. There’s also a spray-on version, and they both work really well

Also, wash it separately in a different load. Don't combine it a regular load of laundry

Never mix vinegar and ammonia, though -- it makes a toxic gas. A quarter cup of white vinegar should suffice. But do a whole cup. White vinegar is cheap! Add a bit of baking soda, also. If possible, it's hepful to soak in a white vinegar solution.
