It has been a long time since I listened to it. I remember parts of the first few lines:
Children of silence, I hear your voice crystal clear
A voice with a____________, a voice with a tear.
When will the ________
Chorus: Come join in my song and bridge a thousand miles

Viens donc vers moi mon frere
Et laisse ton tristesse s’en allee
Depuis si longtemps
J’attend a cet instant
Ensemble nous pourrons maintenant
Rejoindre la en chanson
If a French amother wants to fix my mangled French (Ruchel?) that would be nice!
Here’s a poor attempt at translation:
One summer evening abandoned on the riverbank
We were there the two of us
My dark thoughts and I
I no longer believed in anything
I cursed my destiny
When, from the depths of the forest
This refrain rang out-
If you feel alone
If you feel forsaken
Then come with me my brother
And let your sadness disappear (go away)
For such a long time
I’ve been waiting for this moment
Together we can now be able
To rejoin there in song

Children of Silence, I hear your voice crystal clear,
A voice with a sadness, a voice with a tear.
When will those chains of despair in my heart be broken and torn away?
When will the curtain of loneliness part to cast a light of freedom on my day?
Come join in my song,
Come bridge a thousand miles;
Your harmony I long,
Your voice, your hand, your smiles.
Ata zocher maasei olam… Haben yakir li Efraim…

Thank you, iyar and Valerian!
NOW I have the full lyrics in all three languages, the Hebrew taken, if memory serves, from the Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur machzor.
The French part will need editing for accents and hyphens, but at least you've provided it, iyar.
And thanks Valerian for the reminder of the English part. Now I can typeset a sheet with all three languages on one 8.5" x 11" sheet with my English translation of at least the French (if not also the Hebrew, depending on how much space I will have remaining).
Y'yasher lachen hako'ach!
I think there are a lot of such "oldies but goodies" that need reviving!

I posted a link to the lyrics that include the Hebrew part on your other thread.
And yes, there are so many oldie but goodies that we still love to listen to and sing!
(And ha, didn’t even realize I was the op of this thread a couple of years ago!)

Thanks to Iyar, Valerian, and all other contributors. I have now typeset the full and correct lyrics in all three languages, with my English translation of the French in a second column. Anyone wanting a legible copy in Times New Roman, all three verses on one sheet, just PM me and I will send back as an email attachment.
