Hi- def going with eliana as first name. I want to honor grandmother whose name was bayla but we want to use a hebrew name. which sounds better? Does Eliana Nava sound good? Or Nava Eliana sound better? Or I was thinking Eliana Esther bc Esther was beautiful inside and out. Or they all go?

Eliana Nava. The other way around makes the vowels blend together and it’s harder to say.

Eliana Nava flows, but it flows too much for my liking. I like Eliana Esther the best.

My first thought was that she would end up getting a lot of Eliyahu ha Navi jokes.

I like Nava Eliana a lot though. Nava is one of my favorite names, and it's easy to say.

When you say Eliana Nava you get two "na" sounds in a row. That isn't pleasing to my ear.
Eliana Esther is lovely. Nava Eliana and Nava Esther are both fine too.

They're all nice. I personally don't like when there is a vowel at the end of the first name and a vowel at the beginning of the second name, because they tend to run together. So I like Eliana Nava best.

I love all 3 names, but don't care for the combinations, except maybe Esther Nava.

The 2 Na Na in a row grate for Eliana Nava. They also almost rhyme, creating a sing-song in either direction.

I don't like the 2 vowel sounds for Nava Eliana or Eliana Esther (although that's the best of them). I think that the ending vowel needs a consonant to follow -- Eliana Rut, Nava Yehudis.

Sorry.

WIll you be calling her by both names? If you plan on only using one name then it doesn’t really matter which goes first.

So where does the Nava or Esther come from?
Is there another meaning too?
