How much would you pay for one hour of relaxing in a hot tub in a private, secluded spa-like room in someone's private residence? Women-only obviously.

I am considering purchasing a hot tub and wondering if it is worth for me to make the room into a private spa and rent it out to ladies who just need to relax every now and then.

What concerns would you have? What amenities would you like to see? I'm thinking fluffy towels, robes, candles, herbal tea etc.

$10-$15. Sounds amazing...where do you live? LOL

Ambient music would be nice. Maybe a private/separate entrance so customers don't run into family members.

A massage of some sort would be icing on the cake, but probably not doable.

Cleanliness would be a big concern for many.

Ambient music, oil diffuser with cedar or something nice, and good soundproofing is a must. You need to make this room NICE, with soft gold faux finishing on the walls and stuff, you know? Definitely a private entrance, and the ability to schedule via text. I would do this periodically.

It would have to be very clean for me to come, and no noise from neighbors, etc.
I personally do not enjoy background music; I prefer silence.

Before you offer this service. Make sure you realize what your expenses would be. On one hand it seems like if I have it it wouldn’t be that much more but heat water cleaning etc add up quickly

It'll be very expensive to maintain & clean it. I don't think the work it worth it.
I don't think many women will go to others home just for a hot tub.

Where would it be? Would there be kids running around in the next room? Do you need chlorine, and if so, how would the house smell? How much for the water and electric bills, and does it overtax your hot water tank in terms of usage for other things (if someone wants to shower elsewhere in your house, for example.)

I wouldn't. It would be too weird in someone else's house for me to relax, and the cleanliness would be too big a concern.

You might need extra insurance too.

Hey. Hire a few good masseuses and private rooms. You're in business. $80 a pop minimum.

Isn't this something the health department would need to approve and inspect constantly? I wouldn't trust it unless it was certified and approved and had undergone inspection for cleanliness and for being sterile.

First of all unless you have a private entrance I doubt anyone would feel comfortable . Also whirlpools trap dirt and need to be sterilized between strangers with vinegar or other. I have one and honestly wouldntb want strsngers soa kingin my tub. I put in an air pool in my guest area as it doesn't recirculate dirty water . 15.00 wont cover your time or energy to clean up, wadh towels etc.

I would definitely consider this, as long as its certified - clean, has a separate entrance, and is sound proof... (not sure if it would be worth your time, considering the reasons mentioned above.)
