I'm looking to order glasses online. I remember looking into this years ago, and they all wanted a very recent prescription, which I don't really feel like getting. Is there any site where you just tell them your prescription without needing it to be recent? I'm in Israel, so if there is a site specific to Israel, that's even better. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Dh has a high prescription. He went to a Meuhedet eye doctor to be measured then ordered from Zenni. He has done this a few times. You can go to any optometrist to get your pupil distance measurements.

Yes, thank you! I ordered last night. I remember using a website that required you to write the name of the eye doctor you used so they could confirm it's a recent prescription, but it must have been a different site or a site for contact lenses. Zenni worked beautifully! (Hopefully... we'll see how the glasses are when they come!) I was also surprised to see it's just $5 more to ship to Israel.

Yep!
Dh usually gets some hook-on sunglasses too. Due to his high prescription, it's somewhere between $30-$50 with the anti-scratch, anti-glare and other such stuff.
I really should get some. My prescription has gone up with pregnancies.
