Hello! I hope this post is in the right place.

I have heard that it is easy to find colored tissues or toilet paper in Israel. (In the U.S. it is not).
Is this true?

If so, where can one purchase it?
For instance, at major chain supermarkets? At any random makolet?

I have a relative going to Israel soon b'ezras HaShem, and she would be able to pick some up for me, but it would be helpful to have as much info as possible.

If anyone can provide a picture for me, that would be amazing.

If not, can you at least provide a brand name please?

Thank you so much!

Pastel colored underwear doesn't help you if there is blood and neither does colored tissues.

If I remember correctly you should see it in any makolet-definitely in larger stores. Tell your relative to look out while grocery shopping. Not sure whats the big deal-Popular item...

This isn't necessarily a majority view. Obviously the op holds differently.

ETA if you are in the US, you can buy colored tissues and toilet paper on Amazon.

Tissues less often, but TP I've seen in most places. Yellow, orange or pink. Also white with a colored design. I'd think that a larger store is more likely to have it in stock.

Any grocery store should have the Lily toilet paper. Just a warning that the rolls are much smaller than American toilet paper rolls, so even if she buys a case, it's not going to last that long.

So in my country it's cheap to find colored, though the frugalest, thin, sandpapery one is always white, or almost. My MIL's shul recently had a machlokes about buying colored TP . There are certainly people for whom any color is unwhite.

Please note that some of the colored toilet papers (lily included) are 2 ply - one layer is colored and the second layer is white (or very close to it(. I use it anyway, and make sure to use it it with the non-white side up. But think about whether this would be ok for you.

There are some brands that aren't like this, but I can't remember off the top of my head - you'd have to buy and then check.

Colored tissue DOES help, except for those who hold it's not mekabel tuma anyway.
Sorry I can't help about it in Israel. In my country I only buy this, I hate the white, it's gross and often feels thin.
