Please give me ideas. Have a closet that is a bit less than 2 feet wide and about 2.5 feet deep. I have three girls ages 8-14 with long robes and dresses. My main problem is that the door frame is about 1.5 feet and the closet is really uncomfortable to use. I need ideas how to make this closet work. Thank you

How about a pull-out rod? Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Adjusta.....C24Q5
If you get one that's the full depth of closet you get an extra 6 inches of hanging space that you wouldn't get with a regular rod.

what about something like this that would roll in and out? It wouldn't allow the door to close but it would give you two rods of hanging space

Remove the doors for more access to your clothes with more storage space. Put up a nice curtain instead.
Put up 2 rods, 1 on top of the other so you have more hanging space. This is for shirts,
skirts, pants. (Long hanging dress items will have to be put in another closet.)
Keep a foldable stool against the wall of the closet for easy reach to top rod.
Hang narrow drawers on one side if you need space for underwear and tights. Hang everything else.

I have this with pull out drawer bins that came with it (for much more expensive but very organized).
Put a shelf all the way toward the top for longer term storage.

Thank you. I wonder if there is some sort of pull down system for the higher rod, so that kids wouldn't have to climb to reach the clothes on the top. Anyone?
