My mother has the braun food processor I always thought I'd get the same. However, We've been doing some research and it seems that the braun food processor is discontinued. Would it be discontinued for a reason and I shouldn't get it? Does anyone have a good one (with the small holes for kugul) that they recommend?
Or should I quickly buy the braun one before they are sold out?

When were they discontinued? The local stores all have them on special before Pesach. I love mine and recently purchased another one for Pesach use.
ETA I just did a Google search and they're being sold all over.

Can you put a whole potato in the feeder or do you have to cut them?

I purposely don’t buy wide potatoes in order for them to fit through the feeder. They don’t need to be cut.

I purposely do cut potatoes just in case it has some rotten parts inside so I can cut it out
