For auditory processing evaluation. I'm experiencing frustration here. The one place that sounded normal, knew what I was talking about, and confirmed that my insurance covers them, keeps taking my number to schedule an appointment and not calling back. It's been about a month of trying and I think it's time to move on! Help!
I have HealthFirst Child Health Plus, but even if you have a different insurance it could be helpful to know who you found. There is a lot of overlap.

I was told they take insurance for the actual test but not for the report which costs $500.

Did you forget to include the name of the audiologist? And what does that even mean - what good is a test if you don't get the results?!

Shirley Pollack in Brooklyn ave. P area took our insurance. She was great.

I second Dr. Shirley Pollak's office. I took my daughter there for an auditory processing evaluation and was very happy.
