Defo cold turkey. Get her to help u mail them to a "new baby" across town. She can draw a picture for the baby etc. Buybher a thabknyou present from the baby.
Then you throw them out somewhere they can not be retrieved.
When she asks for it (which will be for 3 nights total).you remind her the baby has it now and she has a new doll or whatever it is.

We did the ritual of tying it to a balloon and letting it go . With a beautifull story of paci going on a voyage to look for another newborn who needs it . We did switch to a cuddly blanket for comfort.

In Boro park there is a pacifier tree where children hang up their pacis. I think it is on 48 street between 14 and 15 avenues
