I'm thinking of giving my great grandmother's name Gitty. Is anyone here named Gitty and has something else to her than gitty as their english/legal name???
( or any recommendations?)

Tova gittel, also after a gitty grandmother. Like that a hebrew name is added that means git.

I'm Gitty. No other legal name. Most non Jewish people call me Giddy (like giddy with joy lol)... I got so used to it.

We named our daughter after my grandmother who was Gittel. We also turned it into Tova Gittel.
