Speaking of a place to keep towels...what do y'all do with kitchen hand towels?

Hate the over the oven handle idea...and countertops look messy with towels laying there.

What if it's wet? Does it dry?

Also doesn't water drip on the floor/cabinet door when you reach for the towel after washing hands??

If it's wet it needs to be replaced and doesn't belong in the kitchen anymore.

I personally love the look of a towel folded just so on the counter. I use the barmops from Target-I have a ton and keep tossing them in the hamper. You may want to buy a tray or something to keep on the counter that you can leave them on without making it look messy.

Most of them folded in a drawer. One through the fridge handle. Basket under the sink for dirty ones which then go in the wash.

On the inside of the cabinet door on a hook. Its usually not soaked. If it is I hang it over a chair to dry a little and then hang it.

I have over the cabinet bars under my sinks (the towel hangs on the outside of the cabinet). The extra towels are in a basket in my pantry.

What about if they keep slipping to the floor? When hanging on a handle?

Doesn't cabinet door get killed when wet hands reach for the towel?and what about those drips of water that splash on the floor?

Sew a loop onto the towels.

I have a similar towel rack where I hang my hand towels. Although right now they mostly sit on top of my counter since my baby is at that stage where she loves to pull them down. If I leave them on the towel rod she pulls them onto the floor where my other kids end up stepping all over them. I also don't want to keep them in the cabinets since I keep locks on all of them so they don't get emptied out by the baby and it would be a total pain to have to unlock the cabinet each time I, or one of the kids, needed to dry their hands.
