My dishes always come out with food, stains, etc. Corelle dishes have stains from food. Class has food stuck to it.
What am I doing wrong??
I wash off anything major but not perfect (otherwise what do I need dishwasher for??) beofre I put it in. I use regular liquid dishwasher soap.
Doesn't make sense. They come out passable or terrible. Kind of hit of miss. Seems like I should get a much better result.
Please help!!
Thank you

Don't rinse the dishes before loading. Just spoon off all food particles.
There are sensors in the dishwasher that calculate how heavy the machine has to wash based on residue. The more residue (oil, sauce) the better the machine will work and the cleaner your dishes will be.
But don't confuse that with food particles, as even though the manuals say they can handle small particles (such as little leftover pieces of cabbage shreds from slaw, etc), they really just end up clogging things up.
Make sure there's no soap on dishes, as the machine can't handle breaking down soap that's not specifically meant for the dishwasher and also that's not sealed in the soap compartment.
In addition, make sure you're loading the machine properly. Give the rotors a spin around with your hand before closing the machine. Make sure they have a clear path to spin easily and that they're not getting stuck on something that's loaded up high. If the rotors touch something as their spinning around, the machine will not work properly and the dishes will not come out clean.
