my 2 year old's favorite thing to do is clean up.
Its weird I know.
He will spill out a bucket full of lego just to be able to clean it all up.
he doesn't really play in any other way unless someone is playing with him. but a bucket to clean up keeps him happy for a good while.

is this normal?
my other kids were mischievous trouble makers at this age, playing and destroying and getting into everything.

Yes. Very normal. And those cleaner uppers turned into wreckers eventually too.

My cleaning lady didn't show today, is he available? Lego's are pre-spilled for him!

Oh so normal. Typical toddler stage.
Enjoy it while it lasts because very soon they get smart and all you do is yell at them to pack their stuff away!

This. But also nurture the nature. When I saw my child liked these things I had her join me when sorting the laundry, pushing the machine buttons, etc at that age and we had a great time. We still do these things together, which is so nice, and she also naturally likes to keep her room free of clutter which is wonderful. Teach him where things go and watch this side of him blossom all by itself.

He would prob love a toy version of a vacuum cleaner, I saw one recently at a.c. Moore or Michael's. It's perfectly normal, let him enjoy

Does he do other normal 2 year old things? Does he talk? Make eye contact? Does he line up his toys instead of playing with them? Does he prefer to do the same thing over and over? Does he have a hard time with change?
Asking because in isolation, it's not a concern, but if it's part of a cluster of not typical behaviors for his age, he may benefit from extra support.

I'm going to be the dissenter here. It is very normal for a toddler to enjoy cleaning up BUT if this is the main way that he plays, it's at best unusual and I would keep an extra eye on all developmental markers.

One of the favorite things my toddler DS likes to do is vacuum (we bought him a toy vacuum in Walmart). He also loves to 'wash dishes' (more like flood the house). Kids go through stages and cleaning up is one of them.
