Good news! Doctor on call prescribed Tylenol codeine. I didn't spare any gory details. And he promptly gave it. I learned many lessons today. I'm too tired to write them all.
Thanks to all of you who were my sounding board and answered and helped me figure out why I was hitting a brick wall.

Glad to hear.
After I had c-section, my ob prescribed percocet as she was closinf me up lol.... no questions asked. It was a life saver. Slowly I switched to Tylenol and Motrin then nothing bh.
When my sister had emergency c-section after a long long exhausting labour, he ob didn't want to give her percocet. It was insane. I remember telling her she's a too good of a patient, he doesn't realize in how much pain she is.
