Making a whatsapp marked unread?

Is there a way to make a whatsapp unread? (Like when I open up the message, the other person sees 2 blue lines and knows I read their message,)

You can turn off read receipts
Go into settings

Yes but you won’t be able to tell whether the messages that you send were read.
