I know he's very young for this but I notice a
white plaque buildup on my son's teeth even after taking him for a dental cleaning. my dentist isn't concerned. we have a history of poor teeth and would like to be more proactive about keeping them strong as he grows. is there anything I can do to remove it? may be a stronger cleaning somehow ?

and by the way, we have been diligent about brushing, fluoride rinses and regular dental treatments. my other kids don't show the same on their teeth.

Look into supplementing with vitamin K2 and D3

Try an electric toothbrush instead of a regular toothbrush, and use floss as well.

he uses an electric toothbrush . I guess we can floss.

Go to a dentist where there is a hygienist who cleans the teeth not the dentist himself, the hygienist will clean better and spend more time than the dentist does.

my 7 year old daughter had that. We took her to an orthodontist to have her checked for braces and he recommended using mouth wash. She also went to the dentist who removed the plaque but supposedly mouth wash helps stop it from culminating. She was already using an electric toothbrush.
